Petrified Rhythm
Petrified Rhythm is a photographic series that explores how faith can become a refuge from addiction, trauma, or personal struggles. Set in an abandoned industrial space, the images follow the figure of a nun, sometimes wrapped in transparent plastic and sometimes fully exposed. The plastic suggests both protection and confinement. The series reflects on the moment when devotion, born from the desire to heal, can become rigid and emotionally petrified. By placing a religious figure within a decaying environment, the work questions the balance between faith, healing, and the loss of personal freedom.
